ABC’s Quantico Star Priyanka Chopra, who appeared on “The Tonight Show” Starring Jimmy Fallon March three, beat the latter when the host got her to take part in a New York City-style wing-eating contest.
News reports said that the 33-year-old actress was able to eat three wings in 20 seconds while Fallon could not finish even one, claiming that they were too hot and too big. “Just another example of how Priyanka is winning,” remarked Yahoo.com.
In the past Priyanka had made no bones about her love for food, and obviously going her ability to eat the hot little chicken wings, she still retains her love.
“I’m Indian, it’s all about the spice,” she said on the show, The Bollywood actress, who was a first-time Oscars presenter recently, also talked about her love for American hot dogs.
The wings came from New York City’s famous Atomic Wings, and they weren’t just run-of-the-mill spicy wings either, Yahoo.com said. “These wings were the daring “nuclear”-style wings, which are much spicier than traditional wings.”
Priyanka said she was having hot sauce in case the wings were not hot enough, and also a glass of milk in case they were too much. “I might need the milk,” Fallon said. Priyanka was declared to be “a gracious winner” on the show.
The 2000 Miss World pageant winner said she used to study at the Robert F. Kennedy School in Queens, New York, and told Fallon that her favorite thing about New York was its food, especially its pizzas, hotdogs and hot wings.
“Today when I landed this morning from Miami, I went to a hot dog stand to have one with relish, mustard ketchup and everything,” she said.
Priyanka has previously challenged Fallon to a wing-eating competition, and Fallon decided to take up her challenge in order to prove who can eat the most nuclear sauce-covered Atomic Wings in 20 seconds. “You wanted to challenge me on my show. No one does that. Ok let’s do it,” he said.
Fallon only managed one wing to Chopra’s three, stating that he got “a big, chunky one”, to which Chopra replied, “C’mon, excuses!”
Chopra, who has a successful film career in India, will play the antagonist in the film version of Baywatch, joined by cast members Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Zac Efron, and Alexandra Daddario.
